Rubona Primary School Foundation
Why Rubona?
Rubona Primary School serves a growing rural community in western Uganda. Many
classrooms are overcrowded, with more than 60 students per teacher, and one
classroom has been condemned and is no longer safe for use. Our work focuses on practical, high-impact improvements that directly support
learning.

What We Do
Build & Improve Classrooms
We design, fund, and oversee the construction of classrooms and related facilities,
including sanitation and water systems.
Provide Educational Resources
We supply books, desks, learning materials, and basic technology to improve the
classroom experience.
Support Access to Secondary Education
Through a modest scholarship program, we help promising students from low-income
families continue their education.

How We Work
All projects are directed and overseen by our Board of Directors in Canada. Local
professionals and school representatives support implementation under written
agreements, with regular reporting and oversight.
We believe in transparency, accountability, and sharing progress with our supporters.
